I sell my work at juried art fairs in the midwest. Presently those art fairs are virtual.
I started Lockwood Jewelers in 1978, after earning my BFA from Drake University, with a major in jewelry and silversmithing.
I apprenticed at Josephs Jewelers of Des Moines from 1973 to 1978.
I forge, cast, emboss and fabricate in karat gold and sterling silver, adding precious gems and tissue nucleated pearls.
My pieces are narrative at times, and may represent my interest in dance, music, and animal welfare.
